Redefine The Table (#redefine_the_table)

A key takeaway for me from our Hindu spiritual texts is that the objective of mankind was 'seva' (service to society). Love all, serve all, help ever, hurt never.  I used to wonder how I as a significantly disabled person would get to do 'seva.' 

One thing I have come to realize is that higher education gets you a seat at some tables. My voice gets more listened to as a college grad and as a grad student, as society seems to value those attributes more, though the worth of a voice should not be defined that way. I feel I am now getting the opportunity to add small pebbles that widen ripples in the pond of change (advocacy organizations I'm involved in). I learning along the way. 

I want to not just get a seat at the table but to #redefine_the_table itself for ALL autistics, especially for the more marginalized autistics.
